Outline Of The most Dangerous Game!!

Exposition: Rainsford and Whitney are the first two characters we meet in the story. They are on a boat to go hunt jaguars in the Caribbean in the 1920s.  On there way to the Caribbean they come across “Ship Trap Island”.

Inciting event: Rainsford hears gun shots and jumps up on the rails of the yacat and falls over board.  He swims to shore and is having trouble swimming because of the huge waves. Finally when he gets to the island, he finds a mysterious mansion that looks like a big village on the island.

Rising action: Finally when he gets to the mansion he knocks on the door and runs into a large man pointing a gun at him named Ivan. Then General Zaroff (the owner of the mansion and island) invites him in and tells him how he read about Rainsford. Zaroff tells Rainsford he likes to hunt just like him, but he doesn't just hunt animals he hunts humans that come off the ship.
